Deb is the proud owner of a 2021 Nissan Rogue in the sapphire blue color. We are purchasing it from our daughter-in-law Lara. When purchased it had 69,000+ miles and still rides like a dream. Great gas mileage up into the upper 30's, depending on conditions. Great for the amount of driving that Deb is required to do for work.

Having to kids of her own, it will of course need an interior cleaning as well as toting around two fur balls of the yellow lab mix with long hair.. overall in great condition and style.

She has a few of the upgrades that I don't like the sunroof, 3d camera coverage, and rear sunshades on the windows, and probably a few more I can't think of right off hand. Its only issue is the rear hatch hydraulic arm need to be recharged or replaced as when you open it, it instantly wants to automatically close. So you have to physically hold it in place for about 1-2 seconds until it locks into position, and the other issue was the left front tire managed to keep loosing air, so after arguing with Nissan as to the validity of the tire warranty, they decided to replace all four tires, so that is no longer an issue.

It pairs nicely in the driveway with R-2.. private joke, R2 D2..lol.

UPDATE: 09/04/25 (hydraulic lift arms..)

Learned a new trick today from a fellow Rogue owner on Facebook.. apparently the hydraulic lift seems to be an issue on several model years and does not always need to be replaced. If you hold the liftgate open and hold down the close button from the trunk itself a wait for two long beeps.. it automatically will reset itself to the proper distance before it engages the close motion, basically just reprogramming the thing.. tried it out and it works for now anyway... Beats paying for a new install... $$$

1st crisis:
Somehow, somewhere Deb managed to misplace one of her key fobs.. I have looked high and low in the house and all the obvious places it would have been yet,, nothing. I have no clue as to what she did with it but thankfully we still have a second one. Its more the though that there is one floating around out there somewhere yet to be found. I am gunna go under the assumption that its probably in the car or laundry somewhere....lol. I mean how do you loose a 3" object into thin air???
Still no where to be found, have a feeling it went out with the trash as she has a habit of putting keys and phone in groc. bags when leaving the car...OOPSIE!
Well lesson learned I guess.. called Erdman Nissan up the street, they want to charge $500+ for a new one due to the fob, the physical key, and the programming of it..Frig.. expensive lesson dear! So now we choose, have a second key or just live with the one and hope for no more future losses..

2nd crisis:

Lost all power, got the message Malfunction across the dashboard. All the lights and gauges worked, car just would not start.. apparently this is also a common issue with Rogues.. It needed a new battery.. I also learned that you need to keep 12v to the terminals during a battery change or your computer looses its mind and memory.. luckily I found this out prior to me replacing the battery, otherwise I would have had to pay for reprogramming..
