Well we crossed the 10,000 mile threshold already just upwards of 10,400+/-. So it is again time for an oil change and once over. Thankfully we have not encountered any issues thus far with the cars functions and gizmos, etc. Everything seems to be working fine and I like that. Considering all the negative reports on Rogues and the amount being spent on the purchase I can only hope this trend continues. Only thing I dislike about the car is the front sensor/s. The slightest think on them interferes with them, could be rain, fog, dirt, condensation, almost anything and it sets it off as a non-functioning event and triggers panic as its mostly for crash detection, etc. and sounds the alarm across the dashboard and lights up the warning system like a Christmas tree. But other than that I am very pleased thus far.

Well took R2 in for its first oil change and tire rotation, all is good with the car thus far. All fluids, components, filters, etc all good for another 5000 miles. Only had one tire down a few psi. But she all good to roll again. Computers are all working and functioning as they should. No sudden upsell attempts made at all, which surprised me as most dealers around here try their darndest to upsell something ya really don't need...

I took it to Erdman Nissan against my better judgement, mostly did so due to convenience as they are only a mile down the road vs. traveling up to Titusville where we purchased the car. Was pleasantly surprised at there speed and professionalism, as they have a bit of a negative reputation.

Well I am approaching the time for routine maintenance on the '25. As much as I hate the thought of having to put money into it already, given the high cost of repairs now days on these things, I better get to it sooner than later. I know if I go to the dealership, they have the expertise in all, but can also do without the major upselling they always try to con you into. I just need a simple oil change and that's it...not we noticed this, this and this and try the hard sell to boost their profits.

Well, as my birthday is in January, my vehicle tags came up for renewal this month. Instead of re-applying and registering with the old Focus plates, I opted to again go with Service Branch plates. It was fast online renewal, and within 20 minutes or so they sent me the message plates and reg. were ready for pick up. Walked into DMV expecting there to be a long process but was pleasantly surprised with no wait at all this go-round. So D-2 is again sporting Service tags and they look at home...
