I took Debs Rouge (D-2)  the other day, didn't make it more than 1/2 mile down the road and the damn thing chimed and sent me the message across the dashboard that said Take a Break and showed me a coffee cup...lol.  That was definitely the first time I ever saw that..I can only blame that on the sensors picking up a lot of swerving action due to the road construction barricades along the route I was taking. Just thought to myself, this damn car knows me way to well,,lol.

Ounce of Prevention and Protection:

Just purchased the extended warranty on the Rogue, even though the car is new, I have seen way to many horror stories online about the reliability of these rigs, from transmissions, to blown out windows, failing to start and stopping while driving, etc. So I opted for the 101,000 mile /6year warranty good until Nov, of '31. Just in case.. I cant afford to take a major hit at the repair prices.. that shits scares me...

The warranty cost just over $4000 with a $100/deductible, but when considering the cost of repairs, it pays for itself in one or two major repairs.. Hopefully I will never need it, but with the track history of my luck and the Rogue reviews/complaints, etc.. I can't take the chance. It jumps my payment for a couple years as I took the 24 month option for payments.

Well my Jeep ducking days are gone, so I decided not to waist what I have so I will be transferring some of my military ducks over to R-2's dash. First on the list goes this fella, the Proudly Served Veteran duck. He now sits center stage on my dashboard, I have run out of the Navy ducks having given them out to others during my Jeeping days, so I will be looking for a new one to replace it fairly soon, but the prices of these dang ducks are getting ridiculous. I still have a ton of the military challenge coins too, not sure if I want to continue handing them out or just put them up for sale as a lot so someone else can enjoy coining other Veterans..

I would like to start a Rogue campaign of some sorts as well.. similar to the ducking of jeeps, but specifically for Nissan Rogue owners. thinking maybe small Ninja's as an option.. something to ponder for a spell..

Hit the 1000 mile milestone today.. Knock on wood as there has been no issues with R-2 thus far other than the tire issue..
